Marc Webb in talks to direct Just Another Love Story
“(500) Days of Summer” director Marc Webb is in negotiations to direct a remake of the Danish thriller “Just Another Love Story”.
The film tells of a crime photographer who pretends to be the boyfriend of an amnesiac, only to face the wrath of the actual boyfriend when he finds out about the deception. Ole Bornedal directed the original, which broke out at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008.
Webb is also in talks to helm a reboot of rock musical “Jesus Christ Superstar” for Marc Platt and Universal, and he signed an exclusive deal with Twentieth TV to direct a pilot in the coming season.
