Disney halt McG’s Captain Nemo: 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea
Production on McG’s Captain Nemo: 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea has been halted, reports Variety.
A reimagining of Jules Verne’s classic story, the film was a top priority for former Disney chairman Dick Cook. However, Cook’s departure in September put the brakes on the big budget action adventure project.
Director McG has also withdrawn from the movie, which has been halted indefinitely.
McG will now turn his attention to espionage thriller Dead Spy Running and Terminator 5.
