2 GUNS Adds Edward James Olmos, Bill Paxton and James Marsden

Commander Adama to take villain role in graphic novel adaptation.

Edward James Olmos (‘Dexter,’ ‘Battlestar Galactica’) is in talks to take the villain role in Baltasar Kormakur’s graphic novel adaptation ‘2 Guns,’ reports Variety.

The film stars Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington as a Naval Intelligence officer and a DEA agent, respectively, who unwittingly investigate each other as each steals mob money.

Olmos would be playing Papi Greco, a dangerous Mexican drug lord who runs up against the protagonists.

The trade also reports that Bill Paxton is joining the cast as a CIA operative, with James Marsden attached to play a naval commander. Paula Patton co-stars.
