Based on the books by Cassandra Clare, THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES is released in Irish cinemas this week. Jonathan Rhys Meyers stars in the film, as a Shadowhunter hell bent on changing the world. We gathered together some trivia about the Irish actor.

Rhys Meyers is good friends with fellow Irish actor Stuart Townsend. The two of them protested at the Save Tara Hill Campaign in 2006.
