Edgar Wright (Spaced) returns to the directors chair for what is widely considered the greatest indie comic books in recent history. Created by writer-artist Bryan Lee O’Malley, is an epic love story, a teen comedy and a bizarre action piece set in Canada. Influenced by music, video games, manga and real life it really is like nothing else with Michael Cera leading the cast.

Drew Barrymore’s latest romantic comedy follows the story of Erin (Barrymore) and Garrett (played by Barrymore’s former fella Justin Long), who fall for each other during a whirlwind summer romance in New York City. The pair decide to try the long-distance thing after only a couple of months, when Erin has to head back to her home in San Francisco. From here we follow the trials and tribulations of long distance relationships in a film which has been described as 500 Days of Summer meets There’s Something About Mary.

Angelina Jolie stars as Evelyn Salt in this high octane thriller from Patriot Games director, Phillip Noyce. After being accused of being a Russian sleeper agent planning to assassinate the American President, CIA agent Salt must go on the run while she attempts to clear her name. Tom Cruise was initially to play the title character (named Edwin A. Salt) but after he dropped out, the film was re-written so that Jolie could take the lead.

After years of chaos, murder and corruption in South America, the US decides it’s time to put negotiations aside and send in the big guns. Cue The Expendables; a rag-tag group of military personnel (all with their own individual skills of course), charged with the task of assassinating the troublesome dictator. All kinds of ass kicking brilliance ensues with the cast including Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger!
